The Fair Grounds Foundation has financed the construction and furnishing in the Nuwara Eliya district
The daycare centers are located on tea estates in the Nuwara Eliya district, Sri Lanka. Children of tea pluckers are professionally cared for here, with good sanitary facilities.
In a proper kitchen, meals can be prepared hygienically, and the children sleep in beds instead of hammocks. The Foundation has also installed playground equipment such as swings and a seesaw at the daycare centers. During various visits, new toys are consistently donated by friends and family. Medical care is also a focal point for the Foundation. For instance, a Medical Camp was organized at Hattaka School in Pitigala (southern Sri Lanka), where a total of 400 patients, including both students and their families, were treated with the assistance of volunteers and the necessary medical professionals. In addition to providing medical care, a sum of money was donated to the school for the purchase of reports for each student, and books were contributed to the school library.
